Paintings
Here are some representative samples of my work
Art has been a part of my life since I was a little girl and has continued to be a calling for me even today. I always had a box of crayons from the time that I can remember. Growing up as an only child I turned to art as a form of entertainment and comfort. I majored in art in high school and then took a business path until 2003. When the home health care agency closed that I managed I decided to stay home with my kids and began painting again.
I started selling in a couple of galleries and online. Within four years I sold over a thousand paintings to some of the most dedicated collectors. I am honored to have my work in the homes, offices, and businesses of so many! I have taken a break from painting over the last year or so and will be adding a few new pieces in the coming months as I get back in my studio.
"What wonderful work! I'm so excited to be able to use several for a new project at my 'day job,' a Catholic hospital system that is opening a family education center! These works portray the true relationship of mothers and their babies, and the diversity we celebrate in our community. Thanks SO much!" Collector in Virginia.
I work to create paintings that bring a sense of peace to the viewer. Some refer to my work as haunting and others call it dreamy. However you see my work is how it’s meant to be seen-as it is the viewer that controls the way a work of art is interpreted. I hope you enjoy my work and would love to hear what my paintings mean to you.
God Bless,
~Lisa
